Does proposed development reflect “walkable communities” and sustainable live-work patterns?

Can some degree of land ownership diversity be maintained to reduce the ‘absentee landlords’ factor from consolidated land ownership, and to increase local benefit? (Will involve other local authority departments)

Are the premises of key linkage organisations recognised and considered in planning decisions?

Are job losses as well as job gains factored into planning decisions?

Are neighbourhood planning bodies tuned in to the local benefits approach?

Can you alert local businesses to potential development so that they can be ready for resulting business opportunities?

Can development incentives be made conditional on using local procurement portals?
